Objectives

- ACQUIRE SPECIFIC TECHNOLOGICAL, INDUSTRIAL AND COMMERCIAL SKILLS AND LINGUISTIC COMPETENCES: through the ECVET, Europass and the Leaning Agreement. The linguistic competence is guaranteed by the period of linguistic immersion in the host country, the training obtained through the OLS and the intensive English course in our virtual classroom. - PROMOTE THE ACQUISITION OF COMMON VALUES AND PROMOTE EQUITY AND SOCIAL INCLUSION: A high percentage of the consortium's students are first or second generation immigrants. All of them highly value the possibility of participating in Erasmus mobilities, and such participation constitutes a powerful tool to prevent radicalization. - ENCOURAGE STUDENTS AND MAKE KNOWLEDGE OF THE SKILLS DEMANDED BY THE EUROPEAN LABOR MARKET. In short, both teachers and students have been able to observe the current demands of the European labor market. -PROMOTE THE PARTICIPATION OF STUDENTS WITH FEWER OPPORTUNITIES, WITH DISABILITIES, SECOND CHANCE PARTICIPANTS, ETC - EXPAND THE PROJECT DISSEMINATION ACTIVITIES: The active participation of the participants in the dissemination of the project has allowed us to have a broad presence on social networks.

Background

The Consortium "TOWARDS AN INCLUSIVE EUROPE WITH NEW PROFESSIONAL SKILLS VET" is a consolidated consortium with experience in previous calls. ESFMB created it with the aim to help the 10 Vocational schools develop Erasmus+ VET-internships. The ESFMB is a trade union training school that works directly with schools provides its network of international relations, as well as its experience in managing European programs. The context analysis from which we started when designing the project was as follows: -High school drop-out rates - Need to update professional and linguistic skills - High percentage of immigrant students with socioeconomic disadvantages and of students at risk of social exclusion. - Need to reinforce the European dimension in the schools - The need to address the problem of youth unemployment, linked to lack of training of young people and the failure to complete the basic studies necessary for personal, professional and social development.
