As we have said, this project had several objectives. On the one hand, to reinforce the linguistic competence of our students, as the immersion that this type of project entails is perfect for improving the use of the language. Also, to improve their future employability, knowing a different way of working and giving an added value to their degree by adding a stay in a European company. Equally, and no less important, to get to know a new culture and way of life while promoting the autonomy and independence of the students.
This project was requested in response to the need for students from our school to take part of the Workplace Training module in a European country, giving added value to their studies. Being a school in a rural area with a migrant population, this project is a unique opportunity for many of our students to travel and learn about a new culture and way of working without creating inequalities between applicants for economic reasons.
