Background

During the 2013/2014 academic year, Dual Vocational Training began at IES Juan Ciudad Duarte, with the firm desire to establish quality teaching, it was one of the pioneering Centers, which experimentally implemented this teaching modality in the Autonomous Community of Andalusia, for this reason certain recognition has been generated in this new and innovative field of application in VET. On the other hand, the IES Juan Ciudad Duarte since its inception has been inclined towards the internationality of education, maintaining contacts and educational exchanges with centers from different European states but it had never before been carried out with Vocational Training students. When carrying out their training in alternation with companies, we realized how important it is to learn in a realistic way, for all this, the need arose to improve the professional skills of the students of Training Cycles through the development of Training in Centers of Work (FCT) in EU states, this need is also related to the internationalization indications given by the EU 2020 strategy and by the internal analysis that should influence students of the need to expand their employment prospects , without direct rejection of these external possibilities. In addition, the same students began to demand internships in European countries, so we started the 2018/19 academic year and got three students from the Middle Degree Cycle of Administrative Management to complete their FCT in Italy last year, the experience was extraordinary, so we could not stop offering this possibility of training in the following courses and for this reason we requested the project again, our objective is that in the following years, the number of students participating in the Erasmus program will be expanded .
