The objectives of the creation of this consortium are: For the CENTRES that are part of the consortium: - To promote the exchange of good practices and ways of approaching curricula and training. - To support the participation of the member centres of the consortium, which already managed some project and to incorporate into the mobility programmes those centres that have not yet presented any, paving the way for them by means of their membership in this consortium. - To promote networking and inter-centre collaboration activities at regional, national and European level. For the STUDENTS: - To improve the training of students participating in the mobility by adding a European dimension to their practical training. - To increase the employability opportunities of these young participants through the acquisition of key skills and competences as well as language skills. - To facilitate the transition between education and training and the labour market into which the young mobility participants will have to enter. For TEACHERS: - To improve the qualification and updating of teachers by adding a European dimension to their training.
This project has been requested in order to offer to the educational centres of the Community of Madrid that offer Basic Vocational Training, Intermediate Level (GM) and vocational training with a European dimension and offer them the possibility to carry out placements, both in companies and in educational or training centres, in the different countries of the programme. Through the mobilities that have been carried out, the students were able to carry out, in a European company, their Workplace Training (FCT) module, a compulsory part of their formal training. In this way, the international dimension is added to the practical training in the company as a fundamental part of the transition between the world of education and the labour market. The teachers were able to carry out training activities in Europe, both in the form of observation placements and internships and/or teaching activities, which enabled them not only to improve their knowledge of the subjects but also to improve their linguistic competence.
