Unfortunately, Extremadura is one of Europe’s more economically deprived regions, moreover it endures with a really poor people communication skills, what it provokes a high youth unemployment rate, due to a lack of opportunities and go-ahead attitude. Our Erasmus participation would provide us with main elementary elements to face-off this situation. Our students would have the opportunity to acquire personal autonomy, learn new languages and develop the new knowledges acquired in a real labour and international environment. This experience would contribute to gain some prestige from our centre formation, contributing in an efficient way to avoid or reduce the school dropout, thanks to the CFGM attractive gains. We pretend to make some progress in linguistic competences acquisitions, raise up the technician skills working around new technologies, make reals labour experiences and by all this get really needed and important cross competences. These improvements would be applicable to the formation programmes, to the faculty preparation and the centre management ability. To conclude, another aspect we would like to highlight to, is the necessity of contribute to our community development from our centre, trying to translate the benefits of European dimension offer to our people and our territory.
Due to the previous experience our centre has about developing Erasmus+ programmes (ESO and even CFGS), we understood that it was the perfect time to expand the Erasmus+ project to Vocational Training from our centre. By this, we decided to apply for our participation at the 2018/2019 school year beginning. From the start, our motivation was making the participants from CFGM the same participants about Erasmus+ program benefits, because we were aware of their implication in CFGs and ESO. Erasmus+ will provide us efficient and really useful tools, not just to offer better formation and higher prestigious to our students, but improve a really important dimension of our institution, achieving to enlarge the European Dimension to all whole institution.
