This project was born with the following objectives: - To improve the 8 key competences identified by the EU (communicative competences in mother tongue and foreign language, digital competences, social/civic competences, "learning to learn", sense of initiative and entrepreneurship, cultural awareness and expression). - Improve the professional profile of students. - Offer mobility programmes in all Escola Pia schools. - To learn how to prepare a CV and a motivation letter, so that students also know how to face an interview and a selection process. - Motivate students to undertake other mobility experiences. - To raise awareness of European citizenship among young people. - To collaborate between the Escola Pia schools and share knowledge. - To disseminate among Escola Pia staff the knowledge of mobility projects. - To create and expand a network of international contacts. - To enable students to continue training in their area of study and to access higher education studies.
The reasons for requesting this project were: - To offer the same possibilities of international mobility to the students of the Escola Pia de Catalunya schools. - To train the educational centers in the field of mobility, through the constitution of a consortium where the exchange of learning and good practices is favored. - Improve the skills of our students, both on a personal level (linguistic, relational, individual skills) and in terms of their professional training (acquisition of technical skills in relation to the area of study), and their employability (improvement of their curriculum vitae and their position in the labour market). - To increase the motivation of teaching staff and students by giving them the possibility to participate in mobility projects and to transmit the value of the personal idea. The formation of this mobility consortium came from another consortium, the "Plataforma de Movilidad de Cataluña" (2018-1-ES01-KA102-049340). The results of the project were very positive, and allowed the Escola Pia de Mataró as coordinator to acquire a role of relevance and high competence.
