In this context, one of the main objectives of carrying out the project was to provide students of basic training, intermediate cycles and certificates of professionalism of the three centres that make up the consortium, the opportunity to carry out Workplace Training (CWT) in an international environment and under the framework of the Erasmus + programme; in order to improve their linguistic and professional skills In addition, the aim was to extend these experiences to the staff of our centres, to enrich their European vision, improving their didactic and linguistic skills through a cultural and training exchange experience in a European environment.
The three centres that form this consortium (IES Johan Carballeira, IES Luís Seoane and CFEA de Lourizán), the first two dependent on the Consellería de Cultura, Educación e Universidade and the last one dependent on the Consellería do Medio Rural de Galicia, needed to cover the demand for mobilities of students in intermediate cycles and basic vocational training as well as to promote the mobilities of students participating in courses aimed at obtaining certificates of professionalism. We want to prepare people and professionals capable of facing the challenges of a globalised society and to overcome an unfavourable employment situation such as the current context, promoting entrepreneurship, language learning, multiculturalism and improving the employability profile of our students. Our centres offer, among other courses, various intermediate level training cycles: Administrative Management, Welding and Boilermaking, Hairdressing and Hair Cosmetics, Aesthetics and Beauty, Use and Conservation of the Natural Environment, Commercial Activities; as well as various basic cycles (Maritime-Fishing Activities, Manufacturing and Assembly, Commercial Services, Hairdressing and Aesthetics).
