Objectives

As one of the objectives for this project, it was proposed to continue with the Erasmus+ projects that our school has been implementing for years and increase our contacts with European companies and schools so that they allow us to expand the training offer for our students and teachers in Europe. The project really searched for deepening a more complete and transversal learning for our F. P. In short, the aim is to complement the personal and professional skills of our students in as many ways as possible, both for the participants selected for the mobilities and for the rest of the students through the experience shared by the former ones. What we were trying to achieve is quality training, which allows them to get maximum personal development and enables them to respond effectively to the demands of a society in constant transformation. All this in a linguistic-cultural context different from their own that enriches them as people and at the same time opens the doors to new job opportunities, being able to access companies in Europe more easily by knowing other languages and customs. In short, we look for the development of foster creativity, organization, flexibility, motivation and multiculturalism in our students.

Background

Among the main objectives of the IES Inventor Cosme García for the application of this project is, as argued in the presentation of this project, the one of providing our students and teachers with comprehensive education and training that encompasses not only their academic needs, but also complements their personal and professional skills as much as possible. This is called quality training that allows them to face the new challenges of a constantly changing global society. For this reason, the central idea of this project arises, as in previous cases, from the common will of both the teaching staff and the students and management of the school, to deepen and work to achieve a more complete, transversal and international learning that step by step eliminates stereotypes and prejudices and deepen the achievement of a better learning methodology and a better technique and practice for both our teachers and our students. At a more individual level, the improvement of the personal skills of each of the participating students is looked for.
