Background

The Joaquim Mir Institute in Vilanova i la Geltrú is a public educational center owned by the Government of Catalonia. Vilanova i la Geltrú is a city close to Barcelona, well connected, with a good cultural and sports offer and good medical and assistance services. Our center teaches the following studies: ESO, Baccalaureate, Intermediate and Higher Level Vocational Training. The professional families of the different cycles are: - Intermediate Degree: Microcomputer Systems and Networks, Administrative Management, Administrative Management of the Legal Field and Commercial Activities. - Higher Degree: Development of Web Applications, Administration of Computer Network Systems, Administration and Finance and International Trade. The INS Joaquim Mir has been dealing with various needs of students for years, such as the situation of youth unemployment, school absenteeism, abandonment of studies and lack of motivation. To solve these needs, ensure that students acquire greater preparation for the labor market, motivate them with new challenges and create more innovative teaching, we are following an internationalization plan for the center where this project is framed. Through this project we wanted to promote the preparation and more efficient practice of learning by students and teachers, throughout the entire academic cycle, as well as the achievement of coherence between national and European instruments in the field of recognition of qualifications and professional skills.
