The objectives reflected in the drafting of this project were: 1- Implementation and development of the Bilingualism Program. 2- Improvement of knowledge of languages by staff and students. 3- Contribution to the personal and professional development of staff and students. 4- Educational innovation. 5- Greater cohesion between educational stages. 6- Improvement of the working environment. These objectives were intended to be achieved by carrying out the following activities: - F.P.B. student mobility and intermediate level: stays in companies in the F.C.T. period, postgraduate students and in the months of June and July, outside the framework of Training in workplaces. - Teaching stays in countries of the European Union in the modality of observation of educational centers and companies. - Extension of the Erasmus + program to school projects, adults and higher education. - To be a receiving center for teachers and students from European Union countries.
The I.E.S. Luis Bueno Crespo de Armilla, in the province of Granada, when this project was requested in 2019, had a wide training offer of basic professional training and intermediate training cycles. As the vocational training teachers and the management team were very interested in the students carrying out internships in companies in European Union countries, it was decided, after two years without carrying out Erasmus + projects (with the exception of the mobilities organized by the Consortium of the Junta de Andalucía for higher grade students), request it, with the medium-term objective of expanding to projects for higher grade students, schoolchildren and adults. On the other hand, we were also very interested in carrying out teacher mobility. And last but not least, we consider our educational center to be a reference center in the province of Granada, since it is located in Armilla, a town bordering the capital and offers a wide variety of courses, which makes it a great attractive to welcome teachers and students from different educational centers of the European Union. In short, we were looking for the internationalization of our I.E.S.
