Objectives

1. Improve the professional and linguistic competence of the teaching staff. It was a need identified in the satisfaction surveys that are carried out every year in the month of June by our Center and which, in turn, are part of the review of the Center's system. In addition, it will help improve the specific linguistic competence of the teaching staff related to each of the training cycles. 2. Improve the employability and linguistic competence of Middle Grade students. All training cycles have employability percentages that are susceptible to improvement. 3. Implement an environmental management system based on the experience of other educational centers. It is necessary to implement an environmental management system such as ISO 14001 in a center that, until now, has hardly dedicated resources, neither economic nor human, to adapt to the demands of the E.U. such as "turning the EU into a low-emission, resource-efficient, green and competitive economy 4. Implementation of an effective and efficient food safety and hygiene plan in the Educational Center.

Background

In order to cover the following improvement needs: 1. Improve the employability of students in secondary education. According to the system review of the 17/18 course, the employability results are quite low: 35% (CFGM Services in Restoration), 53% (CFGM Pastry, Pastry and Confectionery) and 61% (CFGM Kitchen and Services) 2. Promote the training of teachers in companies in the productive sector in order to update their knowledge always adapted to the productive sector. These needs for improvement are based, on the one hand, on the report and, on the other, on the SWOT analysis of the Quality System Review Report of October 2018 (ISO 9001) 3. Optimize the management of resources and waste in order to reduce the negative environmental impacts derived from the daily activity of the Center. 4. Improvement of Food Safety and Hygiene management practices in order to control their risks, particularly in the practical training cycles of Kitchen and Gastronomy, Catering and Pastry Services, Pastry and Confectionery.
