-To promote the mobility of teaching staff and students in the field of vocational training. -To improve the occupational profile of our students in order to increase the guarantees of access to more stable and less precarious jobs. -To make effective a better transition to the labour market, with professionally and socially qualified and prepared people in order to improve the innovation capacity in our region. -To strengthen the cooperation between the members of the mobility consortium and European companies and/or training centres, increasing the exchange of information and experiences on common issues of training systems within the EU. -To reduce the rate of early school leavers in our schools by encouraging mobility; To give the opportunity to teachers of the consortium to reinvent themselves and develop more innovative educational practices in order to favour the reduction of the drop-out rate and to acquire the educational resources to train qualified young people for today's labour market; -To increase the presence of the Erasmus programme and mobility opportunities as a gateway to Europe by extending job shadowing services abroad, especially in the EU.
Mou-te Girona! is a consortium project coordinated by Institut Montilivi and formed by four other VET and/or PFI schools (Institut Santa Eugenia, Institut Narcís Xifra i Masmitjà, Escola d'Hostaleria i Turisme de Girona, Institut Carles Rahola) and a non-profit organisation (Asociación Mundus) from Girona. The aim of the consortium is to join forces to offer academic excellence and to improve the opportunities for our students: Margin for improvement in relation to the key competences of our students and teachers. Precariousness and lack of job stability in accessing the labour market, especially for young workers. Social inequality in Girona and that this is reproduced in the academic world and in particular in our centres. Low presence of the Erasmus programme in Girona Low willingness of young people to move to work and the need for companies to have workers with geographical flexibility; Lack of graduates in specific areas for local companies. Potential for improvement in innovation and the promotion of the international dimension of the educational centres that form part of the consortium, and of our city.
