One of the educational objectives of our institute is to provide our students with new opportunities to reinforce their theoretical knowledge by doing an internship in a real working environment in another country. Other OBJECTIVES of the Erasmus+ programme is: For students: - To offer students another academic training and cultural experience that enriches and motivates them to continue studying further vocational training. - To improve the employability of higher education students. For teachers: - To offer a broad vision of other educational systems and approaches, application of ICT and other methodologies. - To offer teachers the possibility of receiving other training complementary to their teaching work, which will allow them to improve and enhance their professional career. For the institution and European partners: - To promote within its educational offer the learning of European languages, intercultural awareness and to encourage the internationalisation of our teaching. - To provide host partners with an experience of European dimension and cultural exchange. - To consolidate mobility as an important tool for the enrichment of students and teachers.
The Instituto de Enseñanza Secundaria "Virgen de la Calle" of Palencia "España", web: http://iesvirgendelacalle.centros.educa.jcyl.es/ , is an official public centre, dependent on the Consejería de Educación de la Junta de Castilla y León in which are taught among others 3 Ciclos Formativos de Grado Medio de: Administration and Management Commercial Activities Cooking and gastronomy FPB in cooking and catering. The school has been participating since 2012 in the Erasmus programme and sending students to carry out the curricular module of FCT (Workplace Training), in companies in different countries of the European Union with their own mobilities. Erasmus+ is included in the specific objectives of the school's PGA, the Coordinator of the Erasmus+ programme presents a programme for each year which details all the activities, the people in charge and the timing of the various actions to be carried out during the academic year. We want to give continuity and widely implement the mobilities among the students of FP of Medium Grade, that they leave their comfort zone and that they get rid of the fear of living in another country. We want to train mature and responsible young people.
