In recent years, the number of students in adult education has increased due to several reasons: Economic crisis, increase of unemployment, precariousness of the labour market, need of continuous training, etc. Our centre is the focal point of adults in the region of Los Alcores. Our main objective is to position IES Cristóbal de Monroy as an international reference centre for adults in the province, just as it already is in vocational training. The adult students at IES Cristóbal de Monroy can, in addition to returning to the studies they abandoned in the past, leave the centre with a higher degree with an internship abroad. The centre wants to promote the European identity of the students of Secondary and Baccalaureate for adults.
