The objectives set were the following: - Promote the review and update of the internationalization plan in each center to promote mobility and European cooperation = this objective has been achieved with satisfaction, all within a context of a pandemic that has made mobility difficult for us. - Promote the carrying out of training practices in European companies or training centers = we have increased the number of student mobilities, replacing long mobilities with shorter ones with companions, due to the pandemic - Promote the international dimension of the Centers = despite the pandemic we have seen an increase in requests, although many stays have not been possible - Create and extend a network of centers, institutions, companies that are related to Vocational Training to facilitate internships in companies = we have continued to collaborate with partners in Europe despite the fact that many countries have kept their doors closed during this period. - Extend the technical preparation of young students and VET trainers through experiences in European work environments or work systems = the degree of satisfaction was high among those who were able to travel
The Department of Education of the Government of Navarra is the official institution responsible for all educational aspects within the Comunidad Foral de Navarra. Within this framework, and within the General Directorate of Vocational Training, the Department has promoted for several years the creation of a consortium that brings together public VET centers in Navarra with the aim of providing training practices that improve the professional qualifications of participants. These Centers have a total of 38 Intermediate Training Cycles, 17 Basic FP and 15 Special FP, all of them from 23 professional families. With the aim of linking the training stays with the world of work, we have the collaboration of more than 1,500 companies from Navarra. For training stays in Europe, we have previous experience and contacts with many European companies that have welcomed students and trainers in recent years. This project has been marked by the incidence of COVID, which has not allowed us to execute it in its entirety. Throughout this report we will relate how the pandemic has influenced us, its consequences and the measures adopted to overcome it.
