Background

The SOPEÑASVET NEW CHALLENGES project was requested by the Vocational Training Centre SOPEÑA SEVILLA in the call for 2019, in order to continue developing its Internationalisation Plan, posing new challenges; in addition to promoting quality European mobilities of students and teachers of Intermediate Vocational Training, it was proposed to offer this opportunity to our students and teachers of Basic Vocational Training, to carry out a 14-day internship in EU companies, as our experience in European programmes has allowed us to verify how these mobilities contribute positively to the strengthening of professional, personal, social and linguistic competences of students. As far as the teaching staff is concerned, the development of this project would open the minds of our teaching staff towards internationalisation, as they would have the opportunity to learn how the Vocational Training system is configured in other countries, as well as to discover new working methodologies applied in the training centres, motivating them to review, improve and innovate in their teaching work, which means an improvement in the quality of the training of our students.
