Objectives

The main objectives of the project have been: - To facilitate internships in European companies, as part of the Workplace Training module, for students of intermediate cycles, for 1 month. - To increase the employability of the students. - To improve the linguistic competence of students and teachers. - To promote alliances with educational centres and companies. - To increase student mobility, improving their selection and preparation.

Background

The project has been requested by the CIFP Majada Marcial, which is located in Puerto del Rosario, Fuerteventura. It offers medium and higher level training cycles of 10 professional families in classroom and blended learning modalities. The number of students enrolled is over 1100 and the number of teachers is approximately 90. The purpose of having applied is precisely to continue progressing in the degree of internationalisation of the educational centre, allowing the educational community to carry out mobilities in different European countries where, in addition to acquiring knowledge at an academic and professional level, it allows a direct immersion in the culture as well as the learning or improvement of a foreign language. Moreover, due to the idiosyncrasy of being a school located on an island, where the mobility of a large part of the student body is often restricted to the archipelago as a whole, it is even more relevant to ensure the continuity of this type of mobility projects as an essential opportunity to enable this.
