Our most significant objective seeks to furnish our educational institutions with all the resources that might be needed which would help them to achieve a real level of inclusion of any student who is currently suffering from gender, sexual or emotional discrimination. With that aim in mind, a proposal of exchange of good practices is presented so as to reach a level of zero tolerance when facing situations of possible or real discrimination. In order to tackle this objective, we intended to: 1- Design an Integral Plan of Action so as to be able to properly face these problems both from a scientific point of view and with the participation of other stakeholders. 2- Establish solid forums of coordination with the three main bodies which shape our educational communities, as well as with other social groups and authorities among whose main duties are supervising the process of transformation of our schools. 3- Set up a network of both schools and teachers eager to improve the current levels of inclusion of students. 4- Furnish ourselves with a set of educational and didactic norms and regulations which may enable such a transformation, rooted in specific institutional proposals.
Over the last few years, the number of educational institutions which show signs of disruptive situations within the sphere of coexistence have increased significantly. Some of them derive from both discriminatory attitudes and a lack of integration of a large group of students due to their gender, sexual and emotional orientation. In some cases, such state of affairs leads to situations of physic or/and verbal abuses which go far beyond the boundaries of schools. It is precisely in those circumstances that we do not have at our disposal the adequate and efficient resources we require to properly manage and to efficiently revert them and, most importantly, to work with the schools in order to find solutions focused on the prevention of new possible problematic situations and therefore, enhance their levels of social inclusion. Our starting point springs from a joint-venture task based on international cooperation to equip all the participants with an Integral Plan of Action with which to address this issue, taking into consideration all the questions involved and protect the students who might be suffering from exclusion and/or rejection, working from prevention, awareness-rising and normalization.
