Project summary

In our days, cultural heritage and popular traditions are in a difficult moment, on the one hand, they are trying to maintain and recover and, on the other hand, they are facing the phenomenon of globalization that is causing the loss of cultural identity of different cities and places, conditioned mainly by new technologies and television that invade the last of our corners. Considering that they have a great value in themselves, it is necessary to promote and consolidate these activities that make up our cultural heritage, taking into account their past, present and future. During the last years, the customs of towns, cities and countries are being lost and forgotten, the new generations do not believe in the things that made our ancestors continue the family work and many of them do not know anything about traditional games or meals. With this project, we want these things to change, recover and promote all our areas. We want people to acquire more new skills, learn about other countries, jobs, culture and ways to promote our culture among the youth. The aim of the project was to work with adults and young people so that they could develop intergenerational learning between them with the promotion and recovery of the cultures of different countries, the exchange of experiences and knowledge between these groups. Objectives: -To share and celebrate European cultural heritage. - To improve and expand the provision of personalized quality learning opportunities based on the needs of low-skilled and less-skilled adult learners in the digital environment through informal and non-formal learning. -Exchange best practices among practitioners. -Train adult educators who can help disadvantaged adults or those at risk of exclusion. -Develop educational activities for adults to raise awareness and help protect cultural heritage. -Promote intergenerational learning and learning later in life. -Create a MANUAL with Guidelines for the training of adult trainers in ICT and cultural heritage recovery. -To create international and regional cooperation and networks of partners on intergenerational promotion of Cultural Heritage through ICTs. -Observe the role and task of adult education providers on how cultural resources are used to generate employment and income opportunities. During the project we have carried out different activities such as: • Meeting in the different countries that are part of the project such as Spain, Italy, Sweden, Slovakia. • Manual of good practices and methods on cultural heritage recovery and the use of ICT in partner countries. • Training in Czech Republic, to acquire the fruits of the research carried out and to transmit them locally to adults. • Training event for adults on the use of ICT and the recovery and promotion of cultural heritage in each partner country of the project. • Event, aimed at young people for the intergenerational promotion of cultural heritage in each country. • Dissemination activities and visibility of the project in all countries.
