To this end, the following specific objectives were set: - To develop and promote a comprehensive training program for professionals with interactive tools and an innovative model to promote the social and labor inclusion of the beneficiaries. - To provide professionals dealing with this group with the necessary guidelines and tools so that they can provide support to the beneficiaries with the collaboration of public entities and companies. - To promote the social inclusion and civic participation of beneficiaries through the development of their social and labour skills, as well as developing and testing effective methods to reach the group. - To offer practical solutions and policy recommendations for institutions, companies, and social organizations at local, regional, national, and European level to promote the social inclusion of migrants, refugees, newcomers, and asylum seekers in the EU.

Background

Employment 4 Inclusion is a project created to address the social and labor needs of migrants, newcomers, asylum seekers, and refugees (from now on, "MNAR") in the European Union. Many of these people have difficulties in accessing a job, which is reflected in their unemployment rates compared to people from their country of origin. In 2020, the employment rate in the EU of the working-age population was higher for EU citizens (73.3%) than for non-EU citizens (57.4%) (European Commission, 2021). These people suffer from cultural, educational, social, economic, and/or linguistic barriers that hinder their integration into their community. In order to provide a comprehensive response to these needs, it is important not only to work with the beneficiaries but also with other resources related to their socio-labor support through different agents directly involved in the inclusion process of this group: social entities, public administration, and companies. The aim is not only to reach not only MNAR people but also the professionals who work with this group on a daily basis. It becomes extremely essential to work with the key players in this system, starting with public bodies and third sector associations up to involving companies.
