PROJECT ABSTRACT: GOUBAK in my school: inclusive sport (GKIS) - Association KA229 COUNTRIES: Turkey and Spain ENTITIES: Diyarbakırlı Ekrem Ergün İlkokulu and CEIP Campohermoso. NEEDS The eTwinning platform facilitated finding partners in line with a clear line of action, focusing the project around the inclusion of pupils in the educational environment. In this regard, specifically, using as an educational tool the Goubak, a recently created collective sport of regulated collaboration-opposition. In CEIP Campohermoso we have been working with a project called Diverpatios, to dynamize the recesses through less known games and sports, as is the case of Goubak, which facilitate more participation. Due to the lack of experience in Erasmus+ projects of CEIP Campohermoso, it was very positively valued to meet the Turkish partners of the school Diyarbakırlı Ekrem Ergün İlkokulu, for having an extensive experience in completed projects. In addition, it was possible to contact Italian partners from the Giovanni XXIII center, specialists in the inclusion of students with educational needs. However, at the beginning of September 2019, official notification was received that the Italian partner was leaving the project due to a change of coordinator and the non-acceptance of its Management Team to continue in the project, so SEPIE was informed and the Turkish partners were contacted to take the appropriate decisions in this regard. OBJECTIVES - To achieve the inclusion of students through Goubak, a new alternative sport. - To learn how to play through the elaboration of didactic material. - To teach how to play through the elaboration of didactic material. - To improve linguistic competence in English. - Learning to learn among peers from different geographical realities. HORIZONTAL PRIORITIES - High quality skills and competencies. - Social inclusion. - Open and innovative practices in the digital age. SPECIFIC PRIORITIES SCHOOL EDUCATION - Promote the acquisition of skills and competencies from a holistic perspective and taking advantage of diversity. RESULTS - Elaboration of didactic material for the understanding of Goubak as an alternative sport (infographics, rules, posters, video tutorials, etc.). (infographics, rules, posters, video tutorials...). - Cooperative work dynamics. - Students as the central axis of the teaching-learning process. - Professional growth of teachers through international collaboration. - Improvement of social/communicative skills of the participants in English language. DURATION 24+ extension 12 months, 36 months. Training, teaching or learning activities: Two joint short-term training events for staff: *CEIP Campohermoso hosted Turkish partners in December 2019, to discuss issues on the redeployment of the Project after the departure of the Italian partner as well as issues related to inclusion, integration and Goubak teaching. SEPIE was informed and discussed with the Turkish partners, it was decided to go ahead with the initially programmed budget but restructuring the mobilities in such a way that more students could travel than initially planned. The objectives and priorities were maintained, with the weight of the project falling between two, rather than three partners. *Diyarbakırlı Ekrem Ergün İlkokulu received Spanish partners in November 2021 (after the hiatus due to the health situation it was agreed to extend the project 12 months and contact was maintained during the 2020-2021 academic year with the Turkish partners through instant messaging applications, emails and video-conferences), to address issues related to the management and viability of school projects. 2. Two short-term exchanges of groups of students: *CEIP Campohermoso hosted Turkish partners and their students in January 2022, to discuss topics linked to Goubak, Diverpatios and possible adaptations to be made to better understand the game. *Diyarbakırlı Ekrem Ergün İlkokulu received Spanish partners (3 teachers) and their students (12) in June 2022 to hold an international Goubak championship as a final event to the project after the teaching-learning process. The main results obtained were in line with what was planned, especially linked to the cooperative work between teachers and students from both schools, the development of infographics, rules and elements such as bookmarks to play and understand Goubak, personal and professional growth, inclusion of students in all activities carried out and a satisfactory increase in opportunities to speak and develop the English language. Undoubtedly, they are not partners now, they are friends with whom to continue collaborating in future European projects, that is the main long-term benefit obtained, learning from this experience to collaborate together and continue to nurture the synergies created.
