Among students ,girl students generally tend to avoid or grow hesitation towards scientific studies and STEM studies. The tendency towards girls are the same too.The families, teachers or employers do not think or behave equally as they strongly believe that girls and boys have different roles in the society and the qualifications and jobs have genders. If we do not change our attitude and ignore the scientific developments, girl will face crucial problems of unemployments and excluding in working life.Seeing the hesitation and avoiding joining STEM or Robotic coding activities among girls or strong prejudices and dicrimination toward girls in using computer technology and applying it their studies, have run us preparing us and motivate the students to act and remove all the prejuices . We are 6 partner schools and our students are between 10-18.Our schools are from Spain,Italy,Greece , Bulgary and Turkey. We aim to; -build up a ‘team of researchers’ who can analyze and focus on the main problems related to Gender Inequality in their schools and in the Society they live; - help students to investigate the reasons why few girls and female students are involved in STEM; . - enhance the knowledge of cultural heritage through the study of own’s traditions and approaches to different life styles in order to understand how we can solve the problem of gender inequality finding positive attitudes/aspects to spread and negative ones to avoid or fight. - fight against stereotypes creating padlets, posters, video and all the webtools 2 which can be used for that purpose - meet local and political representatives in order to discuss possible solutions creating a public meeting where students can give reasons for overcoming gender Inequality; - using Scratch (coding) in order to portrait these women and give them our voice - decrease the feelings that block students to communicate with people such as shame, exclusion, hopelessness. -make our students citizens of the world taking care of the problems other countries experiment related to this topic; - enhance their digital competences presenting and using different webtools 2 (from Scratch to coding, Google Form, Kahoot, Qizzes, Padlets, Tricider, ) and Social media - make them aware of the risks connected with the wrong use of the net (E-Safety, Netiquette) -motivate them about using ICT( create and design new things by using technology) - let them take part in the project implementation by giving tasks, manipulate them, organise meetings regularly. -build up self confidence and entrepreneurial skills. They could decide to prepare a campaign for Gender Equality and they could create gadgets to sell and arise money to give to onlus or ONU to defend girls’ rights to be educated We will have 5 exhanges of pupils and they will last 5 days. For each mobility,2 teachers and 3 students will join the mobility activities. 1) Students will act a black light theatre performance and prepare a school presentation with WEB’ tools in Spain, 2) Students will create comics with ‘TOONDOO‘ on gender equality and will make banners about gender inequality to learn Web 2 tools in Bulgary, 3)Students will run a concert performance and send equality messages and will make animation with toontastic about gender inequality in Greece, 4) Students will arrange a puppet show and will create messages on right to have education, gender equality, peaceful world and protesting discrimination in education with WORDART in Italy, 5) Students will make stem with 3d printing about “gender inequalıty and will make calendar about gender inequality to learn Web 2 tools in Turkey, Throughout two years we will also follow a timetable and realise P15 activities with our partners. Our project has gone through several vicissitudes: change of coordinator, the pandemic, the withdrawal of the Greek partner. Our project has relied on an atmosphere of understanding, trust and mutual help to carry out the project that we launched back in 2019 after the previous work on the eTwinning platform where the partners met each other. All the mobilities that were going to be carried out were postponed after the schools and countries were closed and changes had to be made due to the fear of the spread of the disease, when the activities could be resumed..During the pandemic, the partners kept in touch mainly through eTwinning, video conferences, wassap and social networks. The other problem was the change of project coordinator and legal representative that somehow delayed the project objectives and activities until the new coordination got the project philosophy and adapted to the project work. Osmaniye was in charge of the Greek mobility. Most of our efforts have been for the objectives of the project which are summarized in investigating the causes that make gender inequality exist in the centers as far as STEAM is concerned and from there to solve the problems that are due to old roles, wrong policies, stereotypes, cultural inheritance and other reasons. For this, the 6 teams of teachers, then five, the students involved from 10 to 18 years old from different countries have worked on digital competences of webtoos2( Scratch, google form, Kahoo, Pixton...) and social media. We have met with the highest representatives of municipal politics, and we have heard the women of empowered women who have broken the schemes to realize their dreams. The profile of the teachers and students has been varied to give richness and multiplicity of voices to the project. An average of two teachers and three students have carried out the different transnational activities. Both the teachers and the students who have carried out the transnational activities have been chosen according to selection criteria and posted on bulletin boards. The activities that have been carried out in the different mobilities are: In Spain theater activity, presentation of the schools and the web. In Bulgaria Banner and comic with Toondoo, and other similar platforms and banner to show gender inequality. The Osmaniye mobility showed videos with songs that make a difference, in Italy messages against discrimination and war in Wordart and a puppet theater. The last mobility to Turkey included calendars about famous women from each country in any of the scientific fields, and a 3-D printing production with a project logo. Other activities of the project have been, T-shirts, flyers, exchange of postcards, meetings with the different municipal agents to make the project known, interviews on the radio and newspapers, interviews with parents to make them know both Erasmus plus and our project specifically, celebration of Erasmus + and eTwinning days, numerous meetings between the project partners, especially during the pandemic. Finally, as a final result we made a comic book with pixton telling our journey through the project. As far as eTwinning is concerned, the platform, as we mentioned at the beginning, was the catapult of the Gis Gender project. I think it has been the most important focal point to know the project, to expose the different results and to be the nexus of the different activities to be carried out in the future because, if something is clear to the members of the different teams, it is to continue working together and in our centers against any discrimination and especially in gender. We want a future where our students are trained in the different tools provided by the Internet, that the use they make of them is safe, that the stereotypes of STEM careers are erased, that they realize, and we with them, the importance of cooperative work, the importance of creativity, the richness of working in multiculturalism as a fundamental basis for peace in our societies. That is why we teachers exchange new experiences, effective teaching methods that will serve us now and will be extended to future generations. For this reason, the project will continue to survive in our centers as part of our educational projects. We know that the impact has been great in the families, because those who did not know the Erasmus + projects already know the importance that Europe gives to education without barriers. The political forces of the municipalities are aware of the work done in our centers and support us unreservedly and the community in general has been informed of the need to erase gender inequalities.
