Objectives

"Young, draw your future" is a Youth Exchange that involves different organizations from Romania, France, United Kingdom, Italy, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Turkey and Spain. Its activity will be carried out for 6 days at the Th Las Rozas Hotel in Madrid from 12 to 18 of july 2019 with the participation of 32 young people aged between 18 and 30 years, preferably from environments with fewer opportunities and 8 group leaders, 2 trainers and facilitators. The project was born to cover those deficiencies that young people need for their full cognitive, personal and social development that are not sufficiently covered by the formal education system and can be solved through non-formal education; planning the goals, analyzing the needs, objectives, content, techniques and teaching methods. The activities will focus mainly on three areas: body, mind and soul. These will be addressed through active participatory methods in a multicultural and multidisciplinary environment in order to fully involve the participants. At first we are going to analyze the problems of the body and appearance, then we will focus on values such as skills, abilities, attitudes, time management and social and communication skills, making a critical reflection, taking into account the influence of the media on the way young people act and think. How far are they influenced by fashions and by the environment? ... proposing solutions; as for example, the activity of volunteering and permanent education as indispensable activities of life development. As long as young people are provided with the skills and opportunities necessary to develop their potential, they can be a support force for sustainable development and agents of change in their communities. OVERALL OBJECTIVE: Training young people, especially those NEET (neither workers nor students nor receiving any kind of education) offering them through non-formal education, useful information in the creation of new tools, social skills and quality competencies that help them to improve and promote socio-educational and personal development. Provide them new opportunities to be better involved in social and civic life; and thus, to obtain better future perspectives focusing on the dimensions of the body, mind and spirit. SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES: Increase motivation, social and personal skills of young people, the level of knowledge about the management of their lives and future planning. Develop self-confidence and critical and creative thinking; helping them to overcome their fears to express feelings and opinions and foster attitudes of mutual understanding. Increase cognitive development, abilities, attitudes and skills so that they can face a better future and thus contribute to the sustainable growth of their communities. Encourage self-care, personal and communicative improvement. Raising awareness of the importance of volunteering and continuing education to improve long-term career prospects. Promotion of healthy and sustainable behaviors through specific workshops that address the importance of sports and nutrition as healthy and sustainable living habits. Promote alliances and communication strategies that provide greater visibility to the ERASMUS + program by creating the necessary tools and mechanisms that encourage the use of good practices. Creation of partnerships and communication strategies between the different organizations at local, national and international level, stimulating the level of involvement of all partners in all parts of the project and serving as a multiplier effect. In short, this activity expects young Europeans to acquire the skills, abilities, tools, attitudes and values necessaries to help them to face the future; since they are agents of change they will be able to generate innovative solutions and contribute to the social progress and development of their communities.
