With this project we want to improve the education and renewal, which must be constant, methodologies and activities carried out with participants. Young people are interested in environmental issues and sustainability, but it is not easy to get them involved in prolonged activities or in preparation of events. That is why we propose a course for workers and volunteers with young people that will equip them with methodologies, techniques and tools to involve young people in campaigns for sustainability at different levels, local, regional and international. We propose a course called "Get Involved In sustainability" with a duration of 10 days from July 22nd to July 31st, to be held at the Camping "La Estanca" in Alcañiz in the heart of nature in Aragon, Spain. The general objectives of this course are: A) The acquisition of methodologies and didactic and practical resources for working with young people, promoting participation, the exchange of ideas and knowledge among the participants. B) Generate an on-line manual that collects the files of the workshops and activities that are carried out. It will be a synthesis of the course and will be open to new contributions, facilitating the continuity of the project and the network created. The workers will sign an agreement committing themselves to the application of the techniques used in the future activities that they develop, counting on our support of advice if necessary and sharing the advances in the manual created. C) The diffusion of the documentation and materials that will be elaborated in the exchange through an on-line platform of free access so that they can be used by citizens or organizations of any place, inside and outside the EU for all association, worker or volunteer to act with young people. This platform and the manual will be promoted in the educational centers of Aragon, the platforms and coordinators of associations related to young people, we also urge the partner associations to promote this material in their countries. D) To improve the level of competences, attitudes and abilities of the participants for the activities with young people, such as teamwork, expression in a foreign language, non-violent communication, improvement of self-confidence and the ability to lead and creativity, as well as the capacity for analysis and innovation. E) Promote non-formal, horizontal learning and continuous development of personal growth through workshops, brainstorming, sharing, debates, research and self-training. In line with the priorities of the Erasmus + program, this project will promote: - Promote active European citizenship, democratic participation, mutual respect for different ideas, consensus decision-making and intercultural knowledge and exchange. - The acquisition of skills to value the objectives, gestures and attitudes to improve the environmental quality promoted by the European Union. always looking for the sustainable development of the place. - A citizenship that participates actively in the development of their locality, favoring intercultural dialogue, social integration and local employment. - Strengthen the role of youth organizations to promote mobility, interculturality and European integration.
