The creative and safe use of social networks is a meeting of youth workers which is carried out in Valencia, Spain and focuses on strengthening the capacities of youth workers in order to further promote the safe and creative use of social networks among young Europeans. The proposal has been devised together with 5 social entities dedicated to the youth field (specifically from Spain, Belgium, Bulgaria, Slovenia and Poland) and each entity has different experiences in regards to youth themes, the applied use of ICT and awareness campaigns. Objectives: 1. Information, awareness and training on the safe use of the Internet with the aim of protecting young people. 2. Strengthening training, education and awareness-raising capacities so that to encourage young people to perceive the environment as a tool of power, participation and intervention. 3. The use of an extensively active and participatory methodology in the meeting which gives prominence to each of the participants and leads to a shared learning experience. 4. Create a material that allows for the knowledge acquired in the activities to be replicated and further developed later with the groups of young people in each participating country.
