Carrying out this project we want to achieve that the participants get to know other young people from different European cultures and countries, develop their competences and better their capacities to deal with people from other parts of the EU, discovering among them and firsthand interculturalism, diversity, inclusión, European values of solidarity and tolerance, human rights that must be respected. Besides what we want to foment youth participation and motivate the participants to create their own associations. The general objectives of this youth exchange are foment interculturalism and youth participation through empowering young people with knowledge, values and willingness to be of a society that is more united, inclusive, tolerant and solidary. Other objective is boast the motivation and the capabilities of young people to pass on sus ideas, emotions, experiences and knowledge in order to raise awareness and educate people of their surroundings through interpersonal and online communication. Lastly, an objective of this project is effectively create an opportunity for young people under the age of 18 to participate in European youth exchanges. The specific objectives are deal with and get to know topica like cultural diversity, inclusion, european values and human rights. To this end we will work with concepts like prejudices and stereotypes, immigration, refugees, racism, xenofobia, homofobia, disability, etc, but also we will see the talents and competences that different people can have; get to know some basic human rights and reflect on how to respect them; which should be our values; in what way we can be more united and how to educate and raise awareness on these subjects. Besides, we would like to create a real opportunity for young people to take part in this type of project and overcome the obstacles they face due to being under 18 and residing in a rural area like Ciudad Real; this way achieving the promotion of youth participation both locally and on European level.
