Objectives

JUST 4 YOUTH - is an EUROPEAN STUDY VISIT , which arises from the need to exchange, with countries of very different environments, the intervention mechanisms used by the youth sector. We seek through this project the creation of spaces where we can learn about the work that is being done, in terms of youth policies, in different parts of the European continent with the main objective of improving the local projects of each of the partners' organizations. As well as to create a new solid network of European partnership. For the municipality of Sant Just Desvern this project, promoted by the youth council and centralized in the public youth center, Casal de Joves and the community action carried out by different non-profit associations is a cross-cutting development for an egalitarian, respectful and dignified society. We consider young people the the strategic population for social transformation. For this reason, JUST 4 YOUTH proposes a space to inttegrate different perspectives that help to build a more egalitarian Europe around 4 specific themes: gender policies, youth radicalization, migration policies and leisure activities' management. Using the framework of the Erasmus + program we divide our objectives as follows: OG: 1) Work on the management of youth policies through an European platform: take advantage of the resources offered by the E + program to learn from the good practices of other professionals from the youth sector 2) Create a stable and committed international network: design the structure of the future long term collaboration of E+ project among the participating partners. One of the keys to the success of this project is its partnership. It seeks to build a stable and committed collaboration over time with whom to work based on shared needs. 3) Compare the different youth management policies of each partner country: by sharing these strategies we learn from the differences and similarities of each country / organization. Peer learning allows us to understand differences from a closer point of view and take advantage of them to enrich our local actions. SO: 1) Strengthen the cooperative work network between the public and private sectors: The project will involve a person responsible of public youth center and a person responsible of NGO from the same district. During the different activities of the project, the partners will introduce the relationship that exists between both sectors. 2) Bring the E + program closer to public administrations and to the entities which they collaborate with. In addition, during the SV, 4 specialized resources will be visited on youth intervention and community action that work within the framework of the 4 themes of the project. 3) Improve non-formal education among the professionals: through "learning by doing" and peer learning, we promote non-formal education as an indispensable technique in their work. 4) Strengthen ties between the 4 project's partners and empower their leaders in order to scheduling a joint work structure coherent with social realities. 5) Promote learning about youth policies by exchanging good practices. 6) As expert organizations in the E + program, desing projects that appeal our local community's needs tand support those who want to become new projects' creators. JUST 4 YOUTH - is connected to the objectives of the E + as it focuses on the promotion of more egalitarian European societies; on the creation of international networks that benefit the local and international social work that ensure respect for diversity, minorities' inclusion and youth empowerment; on the eradication of prejudices and highlighting good practices within the same continent. JUST 4 YOUTH - bases its work on promoting the value of respect for the diversity, fight for equal rights and opportunities and professionalize peer learning. The objectives of the E + are also reflected in our project's target group: young people at risk of exclusion, gender equity, vulnerable group, and youth professionals.
