Objectives

"We Are All Nomads" is a project created with the intention of attracting young people's attention to the phenomenon of migration and using their energy and motivation to solve some of the most important problems that have arisen as a result of the migration crisis. During the project, we will analyze migration policies and reflect on the free movement of people: one of the fundamental freedoms of the EU and an essential pillar in European citizenship. We will also present the concept of integration and its principles. The participants will take part in activities that will offer them the opportunity to put themselves in the shoes of migrants and face problems such as unemployment, cultural clashes, legal problems, etc. All this will have a positive impact on their solidarity and empathy and will help them to understand better the reality in which we live. In addition, the program will include activities that aim to open the eyes of young people for the false news, the populism and the manipulation. These activities will have a positive impact on the critical thinking of the participants and the promotion of the fight against prejudices, stereotypes and radicalization. In summary, the objectives of the project are: - To see the processes of migration as an opportunity and not as a threat and increase the benefits it - To promote the concept of integration and facilitate the exchange of personal experiences and good integration practices - To improve the critical thinking skills of the participants and fight against the existing prejudices and stereotypes - To provide some tools and offer innovative solutions for some of the most important social problems originated by non-integration - To foster the European values and promote youth mobility as a way to improve the intercultural understanding.
