In the course non formal and informal education tecnics will be used. The trainers will use different methodologies such as peer reflection, games, debates, analysis, creative workshops, group dynamics, etc. to achieve the objectives and planned results. The main objective is to improve the skills of young workers, but also to improve the quality of youth work in sending organizations. Youth workers must be between 18 and 30 years old, and they must have experience in working with young people. They can be volunteers or paid staff. The project also focuses on involving young people with fewer opportunities. Our organizations are working with these target groups and involving them as volunteers. On top of that, we also hope to include some refugees since 3 of our partners are working with these working groups. Therefore the objectives of the activity are: - Develop different skills in the participants at a very broad level, both personal and professional in a European context. - Transmit values of European and intercultural awareness in the participants, so that later they transmit it to their youth centers. - Provide the participants of an international experiences from an intercultural perspective. - Provide the participants with knowledge, strategies, methodologies in non-formal education that they can implement at the local level in their organizations. - Empower young people to grow as leaders in order to improve their organizations. The trainers who deliver the project are all national and international volunteers and instructors. In order to do so, we cooperate with Don Bosco Youth-net. This is the European network of Don Bosco youth work organizations. They will also play an important role in disseminating the results. We hope that together with the stronger youth work in our partner organizations we will also develop a digital platform where games, methods, activities, icebreakers and work techniques for young people can be shared. This platform will be share with all the partners, and a platform for the entire organization of Don Bosco Youth-Net.
