The motivation to carry out this project is based on the need to bring again the performing and artistic arts to the attention of young people through the use of specific workshops. Taking advantage of the use of culture, creativity and art in general, it is intended to facilitate young people's mobility within Europe and, through it, enhance the learning of new languages and incorporate values in their relationships such as solidarity, equality and freedom. The young participants in the exchange will learn to relate with each others in a cooperative and multicultural way through the universal language of art and respect for culture. The focus of this project is innovative in locating activities in a population that has hardly access to this type of leisure and whose citizens have no opportunities to enjoy cultural or artistic activities in their locality. Life in the rural environment is increasingly scarce and aging, but the knowledge of their culture and traditions survives so another motivation is to generate intergenerational learning. Make all these factors come together in the same project and that the theme of the activities is the artistic expression of respect and equality incorporating the vision and perspective of youth has come from the inspiration of one of the most valued authors and artists of the last few centuries, Federico García Lorca, local artist from Fuente Vaqueros who had the idea of creating La Barraca. This was a theater company formed by young university students of itinerant character and popular orientation that had like objective to take the classic Spanish theater to areas with little cultural activity, through the voluntary work of all and all the implied ones. Humbly, we want to imitate this initiative and bring a piece of the cultures from other countries to the rural environment of the Vega of Granada and vice versa.
