Objectives

The main objective of this project is to overcome the fears that arise when young people have to communicate with other young people who do not speak their same language in an atmosphere of trust and security. It is to show how through the knowledge of one or two of the languages of a family it is easy to acquire a passive competence of the others. The aim, then, is not so much to master these languages but the pleasure of being able to cover them, in a basic way, through a series of strategies. In addition, other objectives to highlight would be: - Appreciate the added value of linguistic and cultural diversity and find elements of similarity between languages and cultures by emphasizing what unites us rather than what separates us. - Develop flexible communication skills that can be adapted to different situations and contexts. - To increase tolerance between cultures through intercomprehension, understood as the phenomenon that occurs when people successfully communicate with each other by speaking in their own language. - Develop intercultural competence and find effective methods of communication between different cultures and languages.
