Agriculture is one of the most important socio-economic activities in many of the countries of Europe and a key sector for the development and sustainability of rural areas. During the last decades of severe economic crises, rural villages have suffered dramatic depopulation, leading to difficulties such as territorial imbalances and lack of generational relief. As a result, unemployment in rural areas has mainly affected agriculture. A prosperous agricultural sector can only develop with the participation of young people: our aging agricultural community needs "new blood" to make the sector more dynamic and open to ongoing technological transformations. However, young people affected considerable obstacles as a social activity, including social ones, when starting agriculture, while the situation is hampered by the prevailing perception of agriculture as an unattractive or outdated occupation, sometimes with inadequate protection Social. According to Eurostat and the European Council of Young Farmers, young European farmers seem to be caretakers of essential skills that most of them have not studied in the sector, but have been compromised for other reasons (family inheritance, unemployment, etc.) so much, one One of the EU's objectives until 2020 is to strengthen agriculture and, at the same time, improve young farmers, provide essential knowledge that enables them to enter the agricultural sector. Furthermore, as described in various EC publications, fostering entrepreneurship is particularly important in order to face the challenges related to alarming youth unemployment rates in most EU States. "Entrepreneurship and self-employment offer the pathways for youth to emerge from unemployment" The basic idea of the project has been the implementation of a TC in agribusiness. Since all partners were recognized for their role in agricultural education in relation to youth, they decided to establish an innovative international TC. This TC has enabled young workers to acquire theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of agriculture. Therefore, the fundamental objective of the TC has been the provision of a contemporary pedagogical material attractive to youth workers, which will therefore operate as the main catalyst to inspire young people to apply agribusiness 'AgroFuture' has not only enriched the knowledge of youth workers in the field, but has also contributed to the reduction of youth unemployment by boosting the rural and regional economy through the creation of new agribusinesses or the participation of a greater percentage of young people in the agrarian sector. More specifically, the expansion of education combined with the creation of an unprecedented strong network among young workers with a strong interest in the agriculture sector, has definitely helped to update economic activities in rural areas, thus aiming at regional development, a fact that has provided additional quality and added value to the project. To conclude, the 'AgroFuture' project has targeted the education of the next generation of entrepreneurs who are concerned about the agricultural ramifications of entrepreneurship. This objective has been successfully achieved by producing trained influential multipliers, such as civil society organizations and youth workers who have eventually been brought up to educate and therefore exploit the material derived from the project. More analytically, by integrating a range of non-formal methods, ICT tools, and educational materials into the normal activities of the aforementioned organizations, potential agribusinesses have been trained to maximize both their business skills and agricultural knowledge, thereby identifying challenges of our times that will allow them to develop solutions and models for sustainable agribusinesses. Specific objectives of the TC have been: - Provide ENF tools for young workers / leaders to raise awareness of agricultural entrepreneurship - Develop specific competencies in the planning / execution of ENF activities aimed at young people, with a focus on youth in the areas rural - Develop entrepreneurial skills aimed at supporting the growth of a new generation of agricultural entrepreneurs - Strengthen youth participation in agriculture - Generate a new network, capable of developing strategic associations based on agribusiness knowledge.
