ARTGENDER is an youth exchange between young people (14-18 years) who come from four EU countries. They will work on the subject of gender identity, analysis of stereotypes and prevention of violence. The general objective is: Contribute to gender equality through art-education. The specific objectives are: Promote a respectful attitude toward the human being using art as a vehicle; Reflect on how the concept of "gender" can be re-elaborated and re-defined; Transmit a respectful vision of gender without machismo, using tools from various artistic fields. Develop a new look towards one's own body, deepening on issues related to the image of oneself and the other. Analyze the concept of gender identity reflected in dance, music and photography. Use theater and dance to question the stereotypes and mandates of the gender. Prevent violent and / or machista behaviors and expressions of them also in social networks. This project is part of the work strategy that RESIDUI TEATRO is developing since 2016, using performing shows, meetings and workshops to promote a respectful vision of gender, respect between human beings and prevention of violent attitudes .
