Objectives

The project team wanted to develop in itself both their ICT skills and their courage and curiosity to expand their international activities. Our important goal was also to enhance the competence of learning and teaching English. We don't have an English teacher in our school, but all teachers do language teaching, skills in this area were also desirable. Our school wanted, and wants, to offer high quality teaching to our pupils. We consider that Erasmus+ is one of the ways to show to our community that we are a high quality school, with staff that wants to improve.

Background

This project wanted to combine the learning of ICT skills and internationalty. We wanted our middle-aged teachers to learn more about the digitalisation that they should be able to pass on to their students. Finding new international contacts was another important goal. The best way of learning international skills is by participating. Personal experience is always the best way to transfer enthusiasm and curiosity to your colleagues and your students We wanted to allocate the participants a good quality one week's in-service teacher-training to acquire new skills, new practices and applications. Our school also hoped to gain new partnerships from the participating colleagues.
