Through this project we wanted to - develop the competence of the teachers - find new perspectives and answers to the challenges we have - make new contacts for continued international cooperation - expose our pupils to an international environment and strengthen their language skills and identity - share our knowledge in the schools and organizations we visited
At our school we want to develop our competences as teachers. We applied for this project partly to focus on our digital competence, but also to find solutions to the linguistic and social challenges we have. We have a growing challenge with pupils staying at home and not coming to school. We wanted to see how they handle this in other countries and social contexts. The school management is positive to give the teachers the possibility to develop their skills. To be able to keep the inspiration and energy of the teachers we wanted to give an opportunity to participate in an international project, to get new perspectives and make new contacts. We also wanted to see how digital aids (computers, iPads, mobile phones,…) are being used in classes and what possibilities and challenges may lie in this.
