The main objective of this project was to enhance the internationalization of the school, creating networks with European schools and to prepare and encourage teachers to cooperate with their European counterparts. The English proficiency of the teachers is vital for this kind of collaboration and thus one of the aims was to strengthen their language skills. According to the plan, nine teachers were to participate in the international training courses.
The curriculum emphasizes global connections and cultural diversity and understanding. Students should be offered opportunities for international experiences. Although we have had versatile long term international activities, this project was the first actual Erasmus+ program in our high school. Its purpose was to serve as a basis and starting point for future international projects and collaboration.
