The purpose of the student mobility and its after-marketing presentations was to strengthen the position of the North Karelia Municipal Education and Training Consortium, Riveria, among other education providers. In addition, exchange students encourage other students to go abroad. The experience of our personnel abroad supports and strengthens the international plan used in our organisation. The quality of learning is evolving and diversifying. Staff gain new knowledge and skills about their job and how it is handled in another country and culture. After the period, the participant will have a better understanding of how the period abroad will take place, and will be able to get to know the persons and business representatives of the partner organisation. The teacher provides better support to the student who is planning their internship abroad and advises on this based on their own experience. The involvement of staff strengthens our network and increases the activity of our actors and develops their skills. Mobility places were also offered to our students with special needs, for whom four sites were planned in conjunction with Riveria’s extensive special education teachers and reliable partners.
The general objectives of the project are to increase the mobility and multiculturalism of the North Karelia Municipal Education and Training Consortium, Riveria, to strengthen European citizenship and to increase multidimensional transparency. One way or another, these goals are always present in our international activities and we have achieved them in many ways through our numerous mobility and partnership projects. This time, we want to take the efficiency and effectiveness of the mobility project to a new level, where the results of the project are disseminated in an unprecedented way.
