We were looking for the opportunity to network and learn with our European colleagues. We wanted to increase interaction and build new partnerships for our teachers and staff. We also wanted to increase the interaction between teachers during the trips, which would increase the sense of community at Kianta-Adult Education Centre (KAEC). We were also looking for ideas on how to use nature and ICT tools in teaching activities, and how to use these to innovate the teaching offer.
Kianta-Adult Education Centre (KAEC) identified the need to develop services and strengthen teachers' skills. The project also aimed to increase vitality and prosperity through new European ideas, networking and new partnerships. The aim is to find ways and methods to make more use of our region's unique nature in education.
