Objectives

We want to carry this project because we want to better understand how our organizations, cultures, and countries approach entrepreneurship and service learning, how importantly is it treated, what tools and knowledge is used to work with them, and what impact does it have. We believe service learning helps people, especially members of different communities and young people, to gain a better and broader appreciation of civic responsibility, and gain valuable skills while creating positive change. It raises awareness of the issues in the community and develop a sense of responsibility to address those issues. Our project links to the objectives of Erasmus+ in terms of more active participation in society, improved learning performance, enhanced employability and improved career prospects, increased sense of initiative and entrepreneurship, increased self-empowerment and self-esteem, and increased motivation for taking part in future (formal/non-formal) education or training after the mobility period abroad. Furthermore, through our strengthened cooperation since our first time working together, it helps our organizations increase the capacity to operate at EU/international level, and improve our management skills and internationalization strategies. As we learn both each other's culture and the values EU aims to transpire, we also understand better on how to manage EU-funded projects, the rules and best practices of managing international projects and implementing international partnership strategies, and it increases our quality in the preparation, implementation, monitoring and follow up of EU/international projects. Also, we learn how to better serve our target groups, meet their needs, and improve the quality of our programs through exchanging best practices, knowledge, and exploring creative and innovative ideas for youth development in entrepreneurship and service learning. We are excited and look forward to learning more about each other's work and implement our lessons learned in order to increase the quality, efficiency, and success of our programs and serve our communities better.
