To be or not to Be... able" project is a 12 months project leading to 2 Study Visits (SV) in Finland and Italy that will last 3 days each one (+ two travel days). These Study Visits will focus on sharing and learning new ways of working with young people who are on the autistic spectrum and/or have mental health issues. During the Study Visitys the youth workers' will learn formal and non formal methods to empower personal and social development on people with disabilities and/or mental health issues. Both project partners are very interested in sharing their knowledge and practical solutions of that knowledge and also learning from the other partner. We want to achieve a European partnership that enables us to work together and also find ways to empower and support possibilities for international exchanges for the target groups of the project. The first objective of this project is to find new ways of supporting and helping young people who are on the autistic spectrum and/or have mental health issues. These young people are usually in a more vulnerable position when compared to other young people of their age. Second objective of this project is to try to find new ways of doing international co-operation with the young people on the target group of this project. For example organising a Youth Exchange with this group of young people requires a lot of support and different kind of solutions compared to typical Youth Exchanges.
