Objectives

The project aims to equip 30 young girls aged 15-18 years old with the skills and know-how to implement autonomously their own solidarity projects and activate other young people to help in them. The participants come from Finland and Spain. Throughtout the project the participants will organize locally their own solidarity projects and collect experiences. With those experiences they will compile solidarity portfolios that will be shared during the exchange. The solidarity workshops during the exchange will cope with various sides of organizing solidarity projects, such as problem identification, getting people involved, arranging the logistics of the projects, disseminating its results, etc. We will go through these sides through case studies, analyzing situations we have encountered during our activities, etc. The project includes also various activities such as presentations about our countries, cooking international dishes, dance and body language, music and activities in the forest etc. to foster friendship among the participants and team-work. After the exchange, the participants implement a dissemination campaign, where they share the learnt outcomes from the exchange with their relatives and friends. The campaign is designed during the exchange and implemented locally by each organization and its participants.
