Our theme of the exchange is happiness through intercultural education and youth participation. We want to carry out this project because we did one exchange last year in Finland. We had amazing time and memorable moments with the group. During the camp we already wanted to do follow-up and go to Caribbean to meet our new international friends and learn their environment and see how they live and it is different from ours. Our objective is to learn more about Martinican culture and put ourselves in a new situation. Like martinicans as hosting and seeing their island differently and for the Finnish to travel so long way and to a completely new environment and culture. We started to think and now we want to know how happiness is seen in completely different environment and what are the key elements that we think are important and if they change in any way in Finland or in Martinique. The aim is to implement those activities that youngsters are willing to do related with the themes intercultural learning and attitudes. All the activities are chosen by the participants and are easy to instruct, implement and participate despite of the language barriers.
