The aim was to carry out 131 mobilities for students and staff. The mobilities were ment to give students a true opportunity for individualized study plans and to gain professional expertise. The application also included short term mobilities intended to engage a larger number of learners into international activities. The mobilities for staff were intended to give skills for working in a multicultural and linguistic setting as well as give an opportunity for upskilling and reskilling professionally.
Helsinki Vocational College wanted to continue the Erasmus+ mobilities as part of of the vocational training. Internationality is a strategic aim of the city and the college that is seen as a tool to support the students learning path, increase the motivation and a tool to succeed in the labour market. Helsinki wants to be the forunner of education and an attractive city for international experts.
