In the strategy of Kainuu Vocational College internationalisation is seen as an important part of the institution's development work. One of the strategic goals of the educational institution is that we are a global player. This means operating in an international and internationalizing operating environment in both domestic and foreign markets. Student mobility is a key and at the same time the most important part of the institution's international activities. With regard to personnel, the goal is for personnel to be able to operate naturally in a multicultural and international operating environment and to actively develop the internationality of their own and their own field. The Erasmus program offers excellent opportunities for funding mobility. Without Erasmus, internationalization would be literally poorer. Erasmus offers the opportunity for all students interested in internationalization to enter a period of mobility during their studies.
