The main goals specifically for the KIITO -project where to focus on re-inforcing co-operation with school partners, especially to allow pedagogical and personal development of staff members but also re-enforcing their wellbeing, motivation and general satisfaction at work. Another goal was to keep on co-operating with professional intermediary organisations in order to be able to facilitate as many mobilities as possible. The professional intermediary organisations are experts, and can usually host many students in one go, from various sectors. Working with them is very efficient. Third goal was to pilot a new part of qualification of 15 credit points, "Working in an international environment". Developing international activities also for immigrant students, who many times lack language skills, has become more topical and was one of our goals. Developing international activities to Keuda's key working life partners had proven to be challenging, and a goal was to develop a process for this activity. Finally, continuous development of Keuda's practices in organizing mobility was cosidered a must, as Keuda and VET in Finland are constantly changing and the need for continous improvement is part of our everyday life.
Keuda's strategy is about offering inspiring studies, being an agile partner, and a sought-after, desired employer and workplace. Keuda’s international activities plan is in line with these strategic objectives, offering international learning opportunities, forming partnerships and networks with our key partners, adapting quickly to changing needs and circumstances, and offering possibilities for the staff to renew their thinking and skills in an international setting. Applying for funding from Erasmus + -program is our main funding scheme to promote these strategic objectives, and it sets the framework for our international activities.
