It was a matter of federating the teaching team participating in the international opening and thereby perpetuating this project, and increasing the European dimension in the minds of our participants. Training these language teachers allows them to better organize and supervise future mobility.
We are in a high school located in a geographic area far from the cities. Our students mostly come from small villages and have never left their homes. We also welcome newcomers with a support program (FLE). Some students drop out of school. In order to remedy this situation, we decided two years ago to develop the school's international opening as part of the school project. This is why the Fernand Léger high school is committed to a European Development Plan with the following objectives: - Allow all of our students to open up to Europe and internationally and thus increase their chances of future professional integration. - Limit dropping out of school. - Involve all the staff of the school in the international opening. The staff will suggest other projects and feel involved in supporting students in these international projects. They will show students the way and thus stimulate a collective dynamic. - Develop and improve teaching methods. - Develop the European dimension of education in our school. We applied for a KA101 for teachers accompanying KA102 projects in order to develop the linguistic skills necessary to be able to dialogue with European partners.
