In his speech at the Sorbonne on September 26, 2017, the President of the Republic wished that by 2024, half of an age group would have spent at least six months in another European country before their 25th birthday," that "every student would speak at least two European languages," and that a process of harmonization or mutual recognition of secondary education diplomas would be initiated. The 2018-2021 Lille Academic Project has three main lines of action: - SUCCESS FOR ALL - Overcoming determinism to enable every student to succeed - EXCELLENCE FOR ALL - Enabling everyone to achieve an ambitious and inclusive career path - PERFORMANCE FOR ALL - Making the academic public service of national education more efficient. The consortium of 17 establishments and the rectorate, geographically distributed over the territory and at different levels, has set itself the objective of training personnel as a prerequisite for the implementation of the main lines of the academic project and the presidential order. The training of ALL people is a priority, as underlined by Pierre Mathiot's report of January 2018.
CALME_sco V PIMEN was formed to respond to requests for formative mobility in Europe, formulated by establishments that are members of the PIMEN and CALME_sco academic consortia or members of the CertiLingua academic network. It was created by the DAREIC of the Lille academy, in accordance with its mission statement and the strategic orientation of the academic region for which it is responsible: European and international openness insofar as it implies transnational formative mobility of educational personnel. Under the aegis of the General Secretariat of the Lille academy, CALME_sco V PIMEN was entrusted to the GIP FCIP so that it could become a candidate organization for this project, duly mandated by the rector and by the heads of establishments formally involved in this academic consortium.
