The mobility of management staff is part of the national and academic training plan. They respond to the objective of international openness provided for in the national training reference system under three headings: personal and social skills, entrepreneurial skills and language skills, which the participants will have to observe during their mobility. The 100 neo-executive mobility trips (24 neo-executives accompanied by a few members of their school or team of inspectors) should enable participants to observe and practice multilingualism in a school or educational authority abroad. Through the two types of training (observation and/or structured courses), the aim is to provide a refresher course in the language (primarily English) and to observe pedagogical or managerial practices in a school or educational authority.
The CALME_sco V NEO consortium was formed by the DAREIC of the Lille academy, in accordance with its mission statement and the strategic orientation of the academic region for which it is responsible: European and international openness insofar as it implies formative transnational mobility of educational staff. The strategic orientation plan (2016) for the academic region includes an orientation of European openness of which one of the 3 axes is the transnational formative mobility of educational staff; the academic project (2018-2021) confirms this orientation.Since 2016 the academy of Lille has been experimenting with transnational mobility in statutory training of executives, as a means of ensuring initial and adequate training, as well as of supporting management teams and the inspection, by temporarily leaving the academic and national framework. This transnational mobility gives neo-leaders a very formative opportunity to observe and compare, among other things, the specific responsibilities of educational managers and the distribution of educational leadership in France and in a foreign country.
