The main goal of this project is part of the basic objectives of our association: to facilitate the socio-professional integration of young people between 18 and 30 years old through an international mobility experience. DEFIE +2 project would be another contribution to it, allowing young people aged 18 to 30 years and with fewer opportunities, living in one of the municipalities of Toulouse Métropole, to go and live a 6-week professional experience in Europe. The main objective was therefore to allow trainees to develop personal, professional, and linguistic skills that they could then value and follow up on a professional project. It was also an opportunity to allow them to live an enriching and empowering intercultural experience. Thanks to this project, which involves several structures, we wanted at the same time to strengthen and perpetuate our collaboration with our partners in Toulouse, Rome, and Barcelona.
We wanted to open another chapter in the terms of European projects, thanks to the good results of the DEFIE+ project, which has benefited from the great interest of young people and has become an indispensable part of our range of international mobility. We have therefore submitted the DEFIE +2 project with the aim of giving more young people the opportunity to live a professional and personal experience that is valuable and enriching for their career. We wanted to reach and mobilize primarily young people that are furthest from mobility, whether because of their financial, social, territorial or school situation. The new project would also allow us to continue to improve in the management of European programs and to perpetuate the partnerships set up during the DEFIE+ project. The DEFIE +2 project would be a new opportunity to increase the visibility of the association vis-à-vis local partners and young people and thus make mobility more accessible for them.
