The Academy of Reims has applied to this project in order to develop the mobility of its students from the vocational path of industrial sections, in particular towards Germany and Austria, and to promote their employability thanks to the skills acquired in German (an operational German with a professional vocation), in accordance with the Treaty of Aachen of 22.01.19 which recalls the decisive role of Franco-German cooperation in VET. These students are also the least likely to be mobile and those who need to be more ambitious and confident. The reform of the vocational path under way aimed at increasing its attractiveness through the mobility and the specialisation of the region in certain industrial sectors undergoing change with new employment needs, are also the basis of this application. The aim of the project was to improve the vocational integration of young people who are still underemployed and to fulfil one of the most urgent tasks for European governments: combating youth unemployment by improving their language skills, professional and personal, acquired in particular thanks to foreign mobility.
